Evaluation for my blogging experience

Hi all. This is my last blog and I going to write about my blog experience.

In my opinion the blogs experience were a good opportunity for learn more vocabulary, and learn English language in general, I feel that I have improved my write abilities so much, because in the beginning I was many hours making the blogs, now I am faster than before, and I increase my vocabulary, actually I can understand the comics in English for example.

In the future I would like that would have feedback of the blogs, because I can think that I have improved, but really I don’t know if I have written is good.

Also, I would like include themes like, “my best memory” for example, or “my worst fear”, also it can be “my favorite book”, among others.

I think that the experience was very good, I admit it was the tool most efficient for learn English in my opinion, although sometimes I was lazy to make them, because sometimes or usually (xd) I was so tired for the university demands.

 If well I feel that I have learned so much, I believe that I have much to learn, so I will keep practicing for my part.

How Green Are You?

I do not know much about friendly practices with the environment, what I have learned I attribute mainly to advertisements broadcast on television; I think most people learn it through the TV.

I understand that one of the measures against pollution is recycling, but the truth is that I do not practical, mainly for lack of time or just laziness.

 for a long time I have thought about joining some ecology organization, but I have not, also due to lack of time and because I think it's important that I gain friendly behavior with the environment, before promoting these behaviors with others, The change must start with me.

I've done so far was, to become a vegetarian because I am against the irresponsible and unconscionable slaughter of animals.

I would like behaviors incorporate recycling, using bicycle transportation, make my own garden free of pesticides and participate in environmental organizations.

I try to use as little as possible transport like cars and buses, but I am forced often to use it, because the university is so far of my house, I also try to buy only what I think is necessary, I am not a lover of technological de- vices or Fashion.

in my opinion, as a society we are wrong on this issue, as we continue to deny the obvious problem is the pollution and the damage we do to our environment, for example Santiago is a very polluted city and its population lacks ecologies behavior, Most leave garbage everywhere, there are few people that use transport clean such as cycling, among other things.

My Favorite Subject this Semester

Hi all. Today I going to write about my favorite subject of this semester.

My favorite subject is scientific basis for clinical diagnosis, because it has different discipline, like physiology, pathology, biochemistry, microbiology, among others. This subject is taught for many teachers, and they are very nice.

I like so much the science, I love the investigation, and in this course I can learn so much about the themes that I am interest, I am specially interest in physiology and pathology, and I hope be assistant of any of these.

 I learn about the functioning of the body, different diseases, operation at the cellular level, and many others things.

But in this semester this subject is more in focus in the cervical facial skull system, it is more center in the area of the odontology.

I hope of this course be able to obtain the tools necessary for I can make a diagnosis adequate for the patients.

My expectations for next year subject are uncertain, because the new curricular grid I it worries me, so we are the first generation of this innovation.

We think that in the actuality is a common problem. We consider that the publicity has made people believe that they need some stuff that they don’t.

Usually, this people suffer a lot of debts and their suffering spreads to their families

We think that is a big problem because generate big quantities of waste.  

2.    What's the most common problem a Dentists
 face along their career?

The most common problems are generating in the attention, with the patient, for example when we take a difficult patient, especially the kids, children are the patient who had the most scare in the moment when go at the dentist. They don´t know about the procedures and is most difficult to keep them still.

SUMMER PLANS

Hi everyone, today I going to write about my summer plan.

Before I was planning go to Machu Pichu with my boyfriend, but we hear that this year this place will be remodeled, we were very sad.

Now we are thinking in go to Mendoza, because my parents knows a cheap place for to stay and it have water pool and a dining area.  If we go to Mendoza, we visit the thermal baths and others nearby places.

Also we wants go to the south of Chile, specifically Chiloe, but we still don`t decide if we will go to Chiloe in bus or backpacking, because if we will go in bus we will go direct to Quellon, so my grandfather haves a house in this place, but we wants knows others places of Chiloe too, and in the summer the bus are very expensive. We plan visit the different isles and enjoy beautiful landscapes.

In this summer I must work, for pay the Christmas presents, have money for me and especially if I want to travel I need money, so I going to work with my father in the fair, he sells vegetables, I probably will work of Thursday to Sunday.

I really would like travel this summer and know beautiful places, because in general I always go to the central coast with my family, and I like it, but is boring visit always the same place.

PET (Preliminary English test)

For me the skill more challenging is the listening, and so was the task more difficult for me, because if well I recognize the words written, I don’t how is the pronunciation.

The second task that was difficult for me, was the vocabulary, because I don´t know many words in English, my vocabulary is very poor, I need study more.

And finally, the task easiest was the Reading, because I achieved understand the general ideas.

My Best Friend

Hello all, today I am going to write about my best friends. My best friend is my boyfriend, he`s name is Carlos.

I meet him in the school, in the year 2010, when I had 16 years old and he had 18 years old.

 He is an honest person, this is very important for me, I hate the lies, also he is funny, and I laugh a lot with him. Other thing very important for me is that he cares about my, he is constantly show me that I am important for him, and he give me the trust to tell my problems.

We are friends 4 years ago, and I hope that we continue to be friends in the future, but this can be difficult if we end.

This friendship is very important for me; Carlos has been in the moments most difficult for me, he always has been when I need him, he is with me in the good and bad moments. For example, lately I have been very stressed about the university and I am irritable and depressed, but he tries to understand me and he makes the possible for cheer me.

Carlos is a great friend, with him I can be myself, he support me, we had share many good times, and I hope that we always have the each other, I really love him.

Pet Practice

Hello all, in this time I’ll talk about my reflections about the activity in the platform.
In the PET activities 1 and 2, that the most I difficult was the vocabulary, because my English vocabulary is poor, I recognize that I must practice this, and the PET activity 2 was the most difficult for me, compare with PET activities 1, so I confused and I mistake very much.
I choose Machu Pichu, because is a beautiful place, it haves a history and your constructions are conserved, I would like to know the Inca pyramids and I want to know more about their culture, also is near from Chile and Peru is cheap compare with other places.
For the last, I think that learn English is very important for my career, because we usually use scientific evidence for support our work, and the majority of the information is in English, so is important to know English, because like health professionals we must be updated with the best evidence possible.

My Future Job

Hello all, today I going to write about my future job.

I am studying odontology, and I hope that it will my future job, but I have admit that in the start I wanted study medicine, but I didn’t can, so the PSU.

I always liked the sciences, when I was littler I liked the marine biology, but this career don´t have many workplace.

I would have liked study something related with the investigation, like biology, biochemistry, where I can make experiments, but the investigation isn’t very profitable in Chile.

So I try to look for a career be profitable and I can do I like it, it give me time to investigation and for my social life, and I found it, this career is odontology, if well the study is very hard, I can learn many science and participate in different experiments or investigations if I am assistant of some course, for example, actually I am assistant of anatomy (dissect bodies), also, odontology is a profesion the area of health, so I can interact with patients, and it give time for others thing, so the working hours aren’t so demanding, compared with medicine and nursery with extensive working hours, so it doesn’t leave much time for family life for example.

I like the odontology, but I don’t want spend the rest of my life in a box covering cavities; I want time for investigation, go to congress and travel around the world.

My Favorite Serie

Hello all, today I’ll talk about my favorite series. In general I watch series of Japanese animation, and is a little difficult for me choose only one, depend of the moment, for example, when I was a child, I prefer “sailor moon”, because I didn’t know many others, but now I watch many series at same time.

In this moment my favorite series is “fairy tail”, because it haves action, magic and comedy, it’s about a mages guild, they have many adventures every days, is so funny, I see this series for relax me.


Even if, in this moment I prefer fairy tail, for a long time I liked “Naruto”, because this series was very complete, it’s had action, comedy, drama and a little of romance, I like the evolution of the characters in the course of the series, the character more weak become strong, also I liked the values, like amity, loyalty, courage, believe in yourself, among others.

I like the series that it haves of all a little, the most important is it haves action, this are my favorite genre, but I too see series where the central genre is romance and comedy, I too like it.

My Favorite Food

Hi friends, today I going to talk about my favorite food. I have many meals that I like, but the foods I like most are the mush potatoes, sushi and vegetarian lasagna.

I like the mush potatoes because is creamy and delicious. The sushi I like it, because I love the combination of textures and flavors, and I like the vegetarian lasagna, because is exquisite, I like the paste, and I prefer vegetarian because I don’t eat meat, I only eat fish.

I usually eat mush potatoes in my house or in the house of some familiar and vegetarian lasagna too in my house, but rarely, and sometimes in a restaurant. I only eat sushi in a restaurant, because in my house anyone know cook it; I usually eat it the Tuesdays when my father invite me.

I only know cook mush potatoes, because is easy, I boil the potatoes and after I crush them with milk and margarine, but the others foods are so difficult to cook for me, but my mother cooks vegetarian lasagna very well.

Holidays

Hi classmates, today I going to talk about my best holidays, it was this year, during the winter holidays. I traveled to south of Chile, to Quellón in the Chiloe city.

I stayed in Quellon for one week; I went with my mother and my grandfathers.

The first days in Quellon were really beautiful, the weather was very good, so we went to the beach "Punta de Lapa", we collected seashells and we walk around the beach. The next day I went with my mother to the port of Quellón, we take many pictures and after we went to the craft fair for buy greetings for  my family and boyfriend.

The next days were very rainy, so we share in family, we went to visit some friends of my grandfathers and we tour other places of Quellon.

The last day, we went to Castro and we rode boat, we saw the "palafitos" and some islands, and it was really funny, after we went to eat to the "Caleuche" restaurant, and the last we went to buy somethings.

A country I'd like to visit

Hi classmates, today I talk about the country I'd like to visit, this country is Japan. I'd like to visit japan, because I love the traditional japanese culture.

Japan is a modern country with  advanced technology, but it conserve many traditions, like eat with chopsticks, visit their temples, tea ceremony, among others. Japan is famous for the technology, food, like the famous sushi for example, the animation, mangas (japanese comic), historical events, like the second World war among others.

If I go to Japan some day, I'd like to visit the temples, I'd like too participate in a japanese festival and I wear a "yukata", also I'd eat much tipical food, and definitely I'd buy many mangas.

Although I like Japan, I'd don't like live there, because I don't like the accelerate life (hardly abide Santiago of Chile), I don´t like the transport, the subway is worse than in chile, they must push people to enter, and is a country very crowded.
